Michael Courtney
President
Mike has a long resume in construction management of public buildings overseeing all phases of construction. His skillful management ensures that projects are brought in on time and on budget. His resume contains a wide range of projects including health care, education, office buildings and sport/entertainment. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for the State of California in various positions related to real estate and construction management. For three years, he was the governor's appointee and Deputy Director of the State of California's Real Estate and Building Program where he played a key role in the development of the State's design-build procurement laws and contracts.
He is a member of the Design Build Institute of America, Western Council of Construction Consumers, California Licensed General Contractor and the Small School District Association. His awards include the DBIA: Public Owner Distinguished Leadership; AGC of California S.I.R. Achievement; Western Council of Construction Consumers Distinguished Service Award.
He received a B. S. in Industrial Construction Management from Colorado State University and holds a California General Contractors License #860010.
